Player slots can be increased by using Dreamballs. Go to Shop > Increase Slots to increase your player slots by five for one Dreamball.

Other item slots cannot be increased but Roberto's Notebooks, Coaches, and Black Balls can be held up to 99,999 items each. Itemized Special Skill can be held up to 2,000 items.
